One of the more important skills a PLF must have is the ability to adapt quickly. The ability to adapt quickly to your environment, to your participants, to the language, to the food, etc.
Power disruptions are frequent in Dhaka, in fact thought out Bangladesh. I've learned to adapt quickly that when it does happen when I'm speaking, I'll just continue speaking until the generator kicks in and the lights come out again! :)
By the 2nd day of the program, I've learned to adapt to the language such as using the words 'tika' and 'bhai' appropriately, and using the words 'done' instead of 'finish', 'AC' instead of 'air conditioning'. :) — in ‎‎Dhaka‎, ‎Bangladesh‎‎.
