Assalamualaikum PLF Family. When your client requests you to organise a learning event, and your company provides end to end services such as scouting for a booking the hotel, how do you pay for it? Do you forward your own cash, put in on the credit card or ask for a deposit from the client? Your assistance is much appreciated. Wassalam.

  Tharwah Kassim When they ask for a quotation, usually our company cover the initial cost. Bila the client dah setuju with the quote, we as for 50% deposit...

  Mohd Amin Said The usual practice is (1) Will be paid in cash if there is capability (2) discuss with the hotel to get additional credit finance with proven to pay through LO (for the government) or promoter DRP letter (private company) (3) ask the organizer expressed commitment to pay a deposit in advance

  Tharwah Kassim Ye betul jika dah pasti client setuju nak ambik kita, baru hotel suma nak kena deposit... Boleh bincang la dgn hotel and pihak2 yg nak kena bayar...

  Mohd Rizal Hassan I avoid getting into the hassle of this bookings and stuff and suggest a friend who actually does that. That way I get to focus on the learning event and at the same time share the rezeki with a friend ;)
