We're slowly creating a play area for our children in the bedroom. We're going to call it the Rainbow Corner (as suggested by Alisha).

So far, I've bought 30 coloured puzzle mats to line the floor (they also like to reassemble it as a car, building, or house).

Coming soon is the shelf and sliding container idea from Suhaili to keep their toys, and three desks for them to work at. Desk no. 3 will be empty for the next year or two, but we will have it there for them to feel we love them all the same.

I'll post photos here of our progress.

  • Suhaili Ikhsan Creative, independent & brainy bunch in progress. Congratulations Nadrin. They will be busier than ever after this...
  • Aminah Norzifah Ismail ehem, nak mencelah... I have also since the past month, rearranged the toys belonging to my cucus. I have then shifted every items towards the main door (from meal table area), close to the glass wall (for maximum comfort of having abundance lighting), close to the carpeted area for comfort (Harith asked me Y I shifted them there n I told him about the carpet), looking exclusively and entirely their zone and I face less hazards of stepping on those little legos, cars and all sorts. The former site gave them easy options of dragging toys into the kitchen area. Now, there's hardly any. Drawing and colouring area is still best on meal table where my office is cited. ;)
